Red Line Gear Oils
Red Line gear lubricants are designed to provide excellent low-temperature shiftability and improved gear protection at highr temperatures. Red Line gear oils will reduce differential temperatures by between 10 and 70 degrees farenheit. Typical efficiency improvements are between 1 and 5%.
The synthetic base stocks used have tremendous thermal stability and provide the best film strength available. The unique combination of base stocks and additives allow Red Line gear and transmission oils to carry higher loads compared to petroleum lubricants. The stability of these products allow them to be used for extended periods.

Red Line 75W90 GL-5 Gear Oil
Red Line 75W90 GL-5 Gear Oil is recommended for most street-driven and racing differentials. Excellent performance in conventional and limited slip units. Also for limited slip manual transaxles which require a 90 WT oil. Contains limited slip friction modifiers.
Red Line 80W140 GL-5 Gear Oil
Red Line 80W140 GL-5 Gear Oil is recommended for heavily loaded and low speed differentials, including limited slip, and where reduction of limited slip chatter or gear noise is required.
Red Line D4 ATF (Dexron IIE/III/IV/Mercon, API GL-4 Gear Oil
Red Line D4 ATF (Dexron IIE/III/IV/Mercon, API GL-4 Gear Oil is a fully synthetic ATF, designed to satisfy the requirements of Dexron III, Mercon and Mercon V, while satisfying GL-4 oil requirements. Superior stability allows high temperature operation without varnishing valves and clutches. Also provides tremendously improved shifting in cold weather. The best low temperature shiftability for manual transmissions and transaxles which require ATFs.

Red Line MTL GL-4 ATF 75W/80W Replacement Synchromesh Gear Oil is designed for use in manual transmissions and transaxles. Provides excellent protection of gears and synchronizers and the oil's balanced slipperiness provides a perfect coefficient of friction, allowing easier shifting.

Red Line 75W90NS Transaxle GL-5 Synchromesh Gear Oil is recommended for manual transmissions and non-limited slip tansaxles that recommend 90 WT oils. Can be used in racing limited slip units to increase lockup and reduce wheel spin. Street driven cars should use regular Red Line oils.
Red Line ShockProof Gear Oils
Red Line ShockProof Gear Oils are recommended for heavily-loaded racing differentials and transmissions which see shockloading. Red Line Shockproof contains a unique solid dispersion which cushions gear teeth to help prevent tooth breakage and allows the use of lower viscosities. Available as Superlightweight, Lightweight and Heavy grades.
